QuickQ privacy policy: what we collect and what we do not

This privacy policy sets out which information the QuickQ client handles while you use it, why it is handled, and how you can manage it. The principle is short: only what running the client requires. This version applies from August 17, 2026.

Information we handle

Every item answers to a specific purpose.

Account information

Registered mailbox and an encrypted password credential, for sign-in and account recovery.

Device identifier

Used to recognise signed-in devices, cap simultaneous use and sign devices out remotely.

Operation logs

Records such as whether a connection succeeded and any error code, used for diagnosis.

Subscription records

Plan and validity, used to confirm entitlement.

What we do not do

The boundary stated in the open.

No selling personal information

Your personal information is not sold or rented to third parties.

No unrelated permissions

System permissions unrelated to connecting are never requested.

No advertising profiles

We do not build user profiles for ad targeting.

Choices you have

Each of these you can do yourself at any time.

View and correct

Check your details on the account page and correct anything wrong.

Close the account

You may request closure; related data is then handled within the prescribed period.

Manage devices

Sign any device out from the device list whenever you like.

Security and policy updates

Both the practice and the changes stated plainly.

Transfer and storage

Account credentials are stored encrypted, and internal access follows the least-necessary principle.

Retention

Information kept beyond the period its purpose requires is deleted or anonymised.
