More devices QuickQ covers: tablets, TV boxes, a whole home network

Beyond computers and phones, the QuickQ client also covers tablets, Android TV boxes and — through a router — an entire home network. This page sets out what works per device type and what to watch for, written up on August 17, 2026.

Work out which group your device is in

Sort the type first and choosing the way in gets easy.

Desktops and laptops

Windows and macOS carry the fullest feature set, per-app routing and manual route choice included.

Phones

Android and iOS trim the interface down around one press to connect, best for carrying with you.

Tablets

Install the phone build for the matching system; the layout spreads out for the bigger screen.

TVs and boxes

Some Android TV systems accept the Android build, with the connect button driven by the remote.

Router level

Configure supported firmware once and every device on that network takes the optimised route.

Company-issued computers

Work machines usually carry management policies, so check with your IT team before installing.

Advice when several devices are in play

Allocate sensibly and the experience steadies noticeably.

Keep the daily ones signed in

Leave the two or three you use every day in the list; sign borrowed devices out when you finish.

One way in at home

With several people at home, the router route beats installing on every device.

Where the signal is poor

On unstable mobile networks, switch to choosing a low-latency route by hand.

Look at the device list now and then

The account page shows each device's last sign-in. Drop anything unfamiliar and change the password.
